Catching up from a week ago tonight . . . here's actress Melissa Gilbert as she departs from the Fox Theater in St. Louis following the opening night performance of the play, Little House on the Prairie. Gilbert has the role of "Ma" in the production; she was Laura in the original TV series.This shot was just inside the backstage door of the theater thanks to an invitation by one of St. Louis' finest. As Gilbert walked out the door, she ignored a request to sign a couple of 8 x 10s, but then decided to sign after I asked a second time.
