You can catch him performing Sunday night during the Academy Awards, but tonight, Randy Newman was in St. Louis, Missouri.Newman, an Emmy (3-time), Grammy (5-time), and Academy award winning singer/songwriter, was in town to perform at a Friends of the Sheldon Concert Hall benefit. Newman stopped for this photo and to sign a Toy Story "You've Got a Friend in Me" compact disk single (already signed by Lyle Lovett) as he arrived back at his hotel following a late afternoon sound check.
Newman will be performing "We Belong Together" from Toy Story 3, nominated for "Best Score Soundtrack Album For Motion Picture, Television Or Other Visual Media" on Sunday.
