There was a "devil with a blue dress on" in Edwardsville, Illinois last night.Mitch Ryder, without the Detroit Wheels, was in concert last night at the Wildey Theater in downtown Edwardsville. The 66-year-old Michigan native stopped to sign a CD for my collection and pose for this photo as he arrived at the venue.
And a hello to Goldie Gholson, a member of Ryder's touring band, who I chatted with before the show. Goldie's son, Doug, was a member of the Springfield, IL-based band, Mr. Opporknockity.
